First Fridays on Fourth Festival Concludes 11th Season
The final edition of First Fridays on Fourth wrapped up the 2025 season in downtown Steubenville, Ohio with an Oktoberfest pop-up of music, craft beer, and community tables. Organised annually by The Harmonium Project (which launched the series in 2014) the event concluded what is now its 11th season of monthly festivals.
With usual attendance estimates ranging between 5,000-6,000 visitors per month, The Harmonium Project reported robust foot-traffic across blocks of Fourth Street despite occasional rain.
Local business owners say the monthly gatherings are more than just entertainment — they provide dependable spikes in commerce, giving new downtown shops the confidence to open and stay open. From food trucks and craft vendors to live music and brewery setups, each First Friday has offered both community energy and economic momentum.
This season-ender not only marked another chapter for the festival but also emphasised the downtown corridor’s evolving role as a destination for residents and visitors alike.
